His agent has now revealed that the Englishman is determined to see out his current deal, and wants to sign another contract with the club. He has received multiple offers from America and China, but he intends to stay at the highest level of the game till the end of his career.
Stretford said: “The very best players who perform at the highest level will always be subject to speculation from the biggest and best clubs.

“But from Wayne’s point of view, he was determined to stay at Manchester United and agree a new contract.
“That’s evident by the fact that he’s still here going into his 13th year at the club.
“Wayne has gone public in stating that he intends to see out his current contract.
“Should Man United make it clear they want him to stay beyond (2019) I think we’ll be sitting down very quickly and ensuring that will happen.”
Rooney has gone on to achieve great things in a remarkable career so far. Playing in England, he has won every title there is to win, as well as winning the Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Rooney is one of the most gifted players of his generation, and is the best English player the country has produced in the last decade. He has broken various records, and is currently England’s all time top scorer, while being only 4 goals away from Sir Bobby Charlton.
