Coman: Pogba Perfect Fit For Munich

Kingsley Coman has said that Paul Pogba would be a perfect fit for Bayern Munich.

The midfielder, who is at Bayern on loan from Juventus, has played alongside Pogba at club and international level as well, recently starring together in France’s team at Euro 2016, which finished as runners up.

Pogba re-joined United this summer in a world-record deal from Juventus, having left Old Trafford on a free transfer back in 2012.

Despite the 23-year-old signing a five-year deal with club, Coman still hopes to have the chance to play alongside Pogba at Bayern.

“If I could choose a player, I would like to have Pogba for Bayern,” Coman told Bild. “This would be fantastic. He has unbelievable abilities and is a fantastic midfielder.

“Apart from this he is not only important on the pitch. He has a huge marketing value. He stays in people’s minds.”

Coman is one of the most decorated youngsters in the world despite being only 20 years old. He has won two Ligue 1 titles, a Coupe de la Ligue, and a Trophee des Champions title with PSG; a Serie A, a Coppa Italia, and a Supercoppa Italiana with Juventus; and a Bundesliga, a DFB-Pokal and a DFB-Supercup with Bayern.

The winger has also made 11 appearances for the France national team.

Pogba is expected to make his debut for United against Southampton in the first ever Friday Premier League fixture. He missed United’s Premier League opener against Bournemouth due to a suspension that was carried on from the Italian league.

He is expected to replace one of Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera in the Red Devils’ midfield.
