France and Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann has had his say on who he thinks will win the Premier League this season.

The 25-year-old attacker has revealed his thoughts on the potential 2016/17 Premier League winners. Griezmann believes that this season won’t be at all similar to last year’s, when Leicester City surprisingly won the league.

Instead, Antoine believes that this year’s Premier League will be won by either Manchester City, Manchester United, or Chelsea.

Griezmann spoke with the Gazetta World when he made his predictions. He hopes to see Chelsea back competing for the title after their poor performance in last year’s Premier League season.

“Last year nobody could have imagined that Leicester would win it but this time, I see it being a fight between City, United, and Chelsea under Antonio Conte,” the 25-year-old said.

The Frenchman also spoke about how he failed to help his country lift the Euro 2016 trophy, despite being in sublime form throughout the entire competition.

However, he claimed that his failure with the National side was not as bad as losing to Real Madrid in the Champions League final for the second time in three years.

“I want to begin by saying that it was a very good year for me both personally and as part of the team, despite losing in two finals. I’m sure that both me and my teams will come back even stronger,” Griezmann said.

“That said, the most painful defeat was the one in the Champions League. It was a big blow because it came on penalties and getting to the final had been a long road. We had been trying since September… but we will return.”

Antoine went on the reveal that he hopes he can help his side win the Champions League this year, but also acknowledged that it will be a tough task to shake off the likes of Barca, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich on the road to Champions League glory.

“We have great confidence in ourselves that we can repeat what we did last year but win the final this time. Then there are teams like Bayern, Barca, and Madrid who are almost certain to get to the semi-final.”
