Man Utd Plot Dominic Calvert-Lewin Move

According to England based media outlet The Daily Mail, Manchester United are interested in signing Sheffield United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Manchester United have made five signings in the current transfer window until now, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin could add to the list of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Eric Bailly and Paul Pogba.

The 1997 born Calvert-Lewin joined the Youth Academy of Sheffield United on 28th April, 2005.

He made his professional debut for the senior team on 25 April 2015, in a 1-1 draw away at Leyton Orient as a 66th-minute substitute.

On 7 August 2015, Calvert-Lewin joined Northampton Town on loan until January. Calvert-Lewin made his debut on 11 August, scoring in a 3-0 win against Blackpool in the English League Cup.

The 19-year-old forward signed for Sheffield United back in 2005, but has only made 5 first-team appearances for the club so far.

Liverpool based newspaper Liverpool Echo linked him with a move to Merseyside club Everton for a price of £1m.

He has now been linked with a move to English giants Manchester United as well, for the same price plus some add ons.

Manchester United could sign him for his potential, as youngsters Will Keane and James Wilson look to have clouded futures at United. Will Keane looks set to leave the club, whereas James Wilson is out on loan.

Calvert-Lewin could in the future feature alongside fellow Englishman Marcus Rashford, who has been making quite a name for himself  recently.
