Talks Ongoing Over Harry Kane’s New Contract

According to England based media outlet The Daily Mirror, Harry Kane is set to receive a new bumper contract from Tottenham Hotspur.

The striker joined the Arsenal youth academy when he was eight years old, and was released after one season. He then returned to his old club Ridgeway Rovers, and was later signed by Watford academy, with whom he spent two seasons before joining Tottenham Hotspur.

On 25 August 2011, he made his first appearance for Tottenham, starting in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League qualification round against Hearts.

The England international has come a long way since then, and has become Spurs’ most important player. He signed a new five year contract with Spurs earlier this year in February, and is currently on a £50k per week deal.
