Chelsea fans have urged manager Antonio Conte to sign Manchester United star Anthony Martial.
Having made a big money move to Manchester United in the summer of 2015, Anthony Martial was one of the best players for the Red Devils in his debut season in England. However, things started going downhill for the youngster since the appointment of Jose Mourinho as the new United boss.
Martial was rumoured to be unhappy with the treatment he received from the new manager even before the 2016-17 season began, when his shirt number was directly handed off to new signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic without his permission. And once the campaign was underway, the Frenchman found himself out of the starting line-up quite frequently, and had to fight his way back into the first eleven.
The 21-year-old publicly expressed his frustration at not being a guaranteed starter at Manchester United as well, which was followed with Mourinho criticising the forward’s agent for creating unwanted speculation regarding his client’s future at the Old Trafford club.

Moreover, last weekend, Martial was unceremoniously dropped from the United squad that visited the Britannia Stadium for their Premier League clash against Stoke City, despite featuring in the Liverpool game a week earlier. This decision by the Portuguese reportedly angered the France international as well as his representatives.
And to add to the worry of Manchester United fans, Martial was evidently absent from the team’s training photos that were uploaded on the club’s official Twitter handle on Tuesday.
Amidst all this uncertainty around the former Monaco starlet’s future, numerous Chelsea fans were seen expressing their opinions regarding this situation, by urging Blues’ boss Antonio Conte to take advantage of this turmoil and sign Martial up whilst the January window remained open.
