Oxlade-Chamberlain Claims He Accidentally Liked The #WengerOut Tweet
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has responded to the trending news of him liking an anti-Wenger tweet on twitter.
Arsenal have been on a poor run lately, and things went from bad to worse on Saturday, when the Gunners ended up losing 3-1 to arch-rivals Chelsea in a crucial Premier League clash.
Fans of the Emirates-based outfit, who were already far from content with the way their team has been playing so far, obviously did not take the defeat at the Stamford Bridge too well. Many of them ended up lashing out on manager Arsene Wenger on social media, and the hashtag ‘#WengerOut’ soon began trending on twitter.
However, an unlikely figure joined the angry Arsenal supporters in their online protest: club midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Ox, as he is nicknamed, appeared to like a tweet posted by the Arsenal Fan TV, which was captioned: “WENGER NEEDS TO GO!!!”

And when Oxlade-Chamberlain found out that the twitter feed was filled with pictures of him liking the aforementioned tweet, he ‘unliked’ it immediately, and posted an update of his own, publicly backtracking his supposed support for the WengerOut-Brigade.
I didn't mean to like that post earlier obviously… Didn't even realise I had!

But despite the 23-year-old’s claim that it was an accident, several Arsenal fans are convinced that just like them, the England international also wants Wenger to leave at the end of the season so that their club can usher into a new and successful era.
@Alex_OxChambo Bullshit mate, you want him out.
