Antoine Griezmann’s advisor has all but confirmed the player’s expected move to Manchester United.

Griezmann has been in the news for quite some time now, with all the major news sources linking him with a big-money move away from Atletico Madrid. And among all the interested parties, the Red Devils have been consistently dubbed as strong favourites to secure the Frenchman’s signature.

The 25-year-old seems to be Jose Mourinho’s prime transfer target for the summer, with some reports claiming the Portuguese will do whatever it takes – which includes selling three of his current first-team players so as to generate funds – to get this deal done.

Some rumours in January claimed that the France international had already reached a pre-agreement with the Old Trafford outfit, wherein the weekly wages and even the shirt number was discussed between the two parties, thereby suggesting the move to be imminent.

But if those reports weren’t enough, Griezmann’s advisor has now dropped an enormous bombshell which all but confirms that the Atletico Madrid star will be Manchester United-bound next summer.

Sebastien Bellencontre, the forward’s image consultant, recently spoke to So Foot magazine about his client’s move to the Premier League giants.

Bellencontre claimed: “When I read articles about a hypothetical transfer to Manchester United I think it would be the ideal commercial scenario. He would play at David Beckham’s former club, which is his idol, with the same legendary number (No.7) on his back.

“Beyond sports, Paris Saint-Germain would be interesting at Franco-French level, but he already has international trajectory with the selection.”

With Griezmann’s representatives calling this move ideal, Manchester United genuinely interested, and the player himself eager to move to the Theatre of Dreams, there hardly exists a factor which could stop this move from happening come summer.
