Reports: Real Madrid Ready To Pay £60m For David de Gea
Spanish media once again have started to reignite the David de Gea to Real Madrid rumours as they claim that the Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, is still interested in bringing in the in-form Spaniard.
Initial reports suggested that Real Madrid were after Chelsea‘s Thibaut Courtois, then came Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris but it is believed they have made de Gea their number 1 summer target.
David de Gea has been the stand out performer for Manchester United this term, rescuing them on several occasions in front of goal and latest reports now suggest Madrid are willing to pay a massive £60.3m for the United keeper.

The report came as an exclusive from Spanish outlet El Chringuito who published a clip with a complete dramatic music to their twitter account after broadcasting live on TV in Spain.

While de Gea hasn’t been receiving the monumental praise he used to get every week last season, that is mainly because he now has a significantly improved defense in front of him compared to last season and has been forced to do less work, but he remains one of the finest goalkeepers in the world.

One of the most intriguing factors which could tempt David De Gea to join Real Madrid is the Champions League football. Manchester United are right now 6th in the Premier League table and face a tough challenge to finish in the top four and if they fail to secure a Champions League spot, Real Madrid would find it easy to persuade de Gea.
Real Madrid almost landed the United shot-stopper in the 2015 summer on deadline day, but because of a dramatic broken fax machine, the deal fell apart at the very last minute.
