Blow For Manchester City As In Form Striker Picks Up Devastating Injury
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have found some decent form recently and are looking to get back into the race to the title. They are quite a distance away from Chelsea at the moment and will have to be at their best from now to the end of the season to stand a shot at the title
However, they were dealt a cruel blow today after it was revealed that one of their star players has suffered a devastating injury in a recent game.
19-year old Brazil sensation Gabriel Jesus, joined Manchester City back in the summer but he was eligible to play for the club after the turn of the year.
Ever since, Pep Guardiola has used the teenager extensively and to great effect.
The Brazilian has scored thrice in just 5 appearances for the Citizens but he picked up a nasty looking injury in the last game against the Cherries.

At just 19, the attacking star has made a great impact on the Premier League standing as one of the most impressive players in the month of January.
His performances have seen Pep Guardiola drop Sergio Aguero, one of the best strikers in the league to the bench and he had some great things destined for him in the future.
But he picked up a serious injury against Bournemouth on Monday and was subbed off after just 15 minutes during the game.
He was assessed initially by the medical staff who were not sure of the severity of the injury but further scans revealed a fractured metatarsal bone in his right foot.
Jesus was seen on crutches in a latest picture that is circling social media and Manchester City were quick to release wishes for his speedy recovery on their official website.

Though the length of his absence is still not known, the 19-year old will surely miss some crucial matches with the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea in the next two months.
His loss will hurt Guardiola, but he will be happy to have a player like Sergio Aguero on the bench for times like these.
