Chelsea Target Marco Verratti Keen To Join Barcelona
This could be a big blow for Chelsea and Manchester United as long term target Marco Verratti admits he will only leave PSG in the summer if Barcelona offers him a mouth-watering deal.
The midfield playmaker has heavily been linked with a Premier League move this summer after dominating the French League for the last four-and-a-half years. Although, now it seems Champions League football is the main criteria if any club wants to sign him.
But Verratti, who is also closely monitored by Italian duo Juventus and Inter Milan, will not be allowed to leave the French champions on the cheap.
However, the Italian concedes an offer from the Nou Camp would be extremely difficult to turn down. Ironically he along with his PSG teammates humiliated Barcelona in the Champions League last 16 tie on Tuesday night.
Still the Catalans believe, Andre Iniesta is not getting any younger and Verratti could be an ideal replacement in the midfield.
The Italy international told AS via GFFN: “Even though I am currently in a good project and I feel at home, any player would play for Barcelona. It is still the best team in the world.

“They have the three best players in attack, and Iniesta too. Iniesta, Messi and Neymar create a move in a second.”
His agent also has warned, the Italian is keen to win the Champions League and “if it’s not possible at Paris Saint-Germain he’ll do it somewhere else.”
His representative Donato Di Campli has repeatedly warned that Verratti dreams European success, and it was once again repeated in an interview with L’Équipe.
“Our objective is always the same: to win the Champions League with PSG, which is the club’s objective,” Donato Di Campli told the newspaper.
“It’s not a question of getting Marco out at any cost, but he wants to win this competition. If it’s not possible with PSG he’ll do it somewhere else.”
