Highly rated Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie has revealed that he dreams of playing for Manchester United.
Franck Kessie has been on the radar of several top clubs from all across Europe lately, with Serie A outfit Roma, French powerhouse Paris Saint Germain, and Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea all expressing their interest in the 20-year-old’s services.
In fact, Chelsea even made an offer worth €30 million for the Ivory Coast international, which was rejected by Atalanta. However, with Antonio Conte rumored to be a big fan of the youngster, the Blues are expected to return with an improved offer in the summer.
With so much speculation surrounding Kessie’s future, the man himself was asked to address these rumors, and he did just that.
The midfielder told Tuttomercatoweb (via ESPN): “I did not hear any rumours around Roma, as I was at the Africa Cup of Nations and so focused only on playing.
These comments by the young starlet would surely be the subject of interest for Jose Mourinho, who is believed to be on the lookout for central midfielders to replace the ageing Michael Carrick.
And with the futures of Bastian Schweinsteiger and Marouane Fellaini at the Old Trafford outfit still far from sure, the Red Devils could actually end up making a move for the Atalanta man.
