Chelsea have been consistently linked with a move for Alvaro Morata over the past fast few transfer windows and the good news for them, if latest reports from Spanish media are to be believed, the Real Madrid star has made his mind regarding a move to London.

The Striker has three goals in his last four appearances, including a vital late winner as Real Madrid came from behind to beat Villarreal 3-2 on Sunday, but Daily Express claim a summer move is on the cards.

No wonder Chelsea want him desperately, but with rumours that Diego Costa might decide to leave Stamford Bridge for a mega money Chinese Super League move, it may take that kind of money to come in before the Blues can think about signing a player of Morata’s quality.

Meanwhile, Real president Florentino Perez is willing to splash the cash having tightened his purse strings over the past couple of transfer windows, according to Tribal Football.

He has reportedly agreed with manager Zinedine Zidane to prioritise a move for Eden Hazard and the Spanish giants may look to pursue a player-plus-cash deal involving Alvaro Morata.

Real activated a buy-back clause in Morata’s contract to re-sign him from Juventus ahead of the current campaign.

Hazard on the other hand, has bounced back from a disappointing last season at Stamford Bridge to star once again under Antonio Conte this term. The 26-year-old Belgian has made 28 appearances across all competitions, scoring 10 goals and assisting four in the process.

But there are still three-and-a-half years left to run on his current contract but the latest report indicate he would be keen to link up with his idol Zidane in Real Madrid.
