Reports: United Keeper David De Gea Desperate To Join Real Madrid
Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has informed friends that he wants to leave the club this summer and finally make his switch to Real Madrid.
That’s according to one Spanish journalist named Eduardo Inda – because Manchester is, as said, “hell”.
Inda, while speaking on TV show El Chiringuito (via the Express), claims that de Gea dreams about becoming Real’s No 1 shot-stopper replacing Keylor Navas next season, just a couple of years after his almost completed move to Santiago Bernabeu fell apart at the 11th hour.
Navas was expected to move in the opposite direction to Manchester as part of a cash-plus-player deal for de Gea in 2015, with both clubs blaming each other after the deal collapsed due to a strange failure in paperwork on time. De Gea eventually signed a new deal at Manchester United, but according to Inda, the move is still on the cards.

Real Madrid have also been linked with Thibaut Courtois and Hugo Lloris from Chelsea and Tottenham respectively, but while de Gea may end up as the most expensive among the three, it could be the Spaniard who Real would love to snap up.
Inda even slammed Manchester United further, claiming that de Gea believed Manchester was “hell” because of the weather.
He said: “Real Madrid are still thinking about a single goalkeeper, who is De Gea, but Mourinho is determined not to leave United.
“De Gea believes that Manchester is hell because every day is black. The player has privately said that he wants to play for Real Madrid.”
Another summer of fun awaits, that’s for sure.
