UEFA Champions League Quarter Final Draw In Full

Leicester might have achieved the impossible on reaching the quarter finals of the champions league and being the only English team to do it this season but their task has just gotten mammoth in size as they face Spanish giants up next in a two legged knock out tie.

After defeating one team from La Liga, Sevilla, in the round of 16, the Foxes will now have to step up their game as they take on Diego Someone’s mighty men. Atletico Madrid have been in the final in 2 of the past three seasons of this competition and have lost both to Real Madrid.

The squad will be looking to better that off this time around and hence could come at Leicester in full force. As mentioned by Sky Sports, Atletico are unbeaten away from home since December and have won 8 domestic games out of the last 12 they’ve played in the league while managing to win five of their six group matches and beating Bayer Lverukusen in the round of 16.

In the draw that took place, Barcelona came up against Juventus, Dortmund will face Monaco while the highlight of the action will be a mouth watering two legged clash between Bayern Munich and defending champions Real Madrid.

Leicester will play the first leg away from home in Spain on 12th April and will welcome the La Liga side to England in the second leg on the 18th of April.

Leicester have already proved to the world what they can do and if the defending champions of England are serious about their future in Europe and in the world of football, this is an opportunity they have to grab by both hands.
