Kingsley Coman has been included in Pep Guardiola’s £200m summer rebuild plans for Manchester City, according to Calciomercato.

The Spanish tactician brought the 20-year-old to Bayern Munich on a long-term loan at the start of last season, and he is now looking for a reunion with the talented young lad in the North West.

Carlo Ancelotti, Guardiola’s successor at the Bavarian giants, has the option to sign Coman permanent but is reported to have decided not to push that deal through.

And Ancelotti’s decision has opened the door for Manchester City, with reports in France claiming that they are ready to splash out £40m to beat their rivals to his signature. The highly sought after Frenchman doesn’t prefer a return to Italy with Juventus.

Coman came through various ranks of PSG but failed to prove himself in the Ligue 1 giant’s squad, largely because of the vast attacking talent options they had at their disposal.

He wanted to take advantage of veterans Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery’s age to hand himself a long-term contract at Bayern, but the German champions not so keen to do that.

Meanwhile, Guardiola plans to bring in the youngster to his youthful front trio of Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sane and Gabriel Jesus. He desperately wants massive rebuild of the squad at the Etihad ahead of next season. It is believed as many as a dozen players could leave the club as part of the shake-up.

Guardiola wants to add at least four defenders to his ranks, in addition to a new goalkeeper with Willy Caballero on the brink of exit upon his contract expiring.
