Italian Sensation Andrea Belotti Reveals Where He Will Be Playing Next Season
Torino’s star striker Andrea Belotti has put an end to the speculation surrounding his future by revealing that he will be staying put at his current club next season.
Andrea Belotti has been in sensational form this season, and has already bagged 22 goals and 4 assists in 26 Serie A appearances so far. His impressive performances for Torino have attracted interest from numerous top European clubs, such as Premier League powerhouses Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City, as well as La Liga giants FC Barcelona.
Given the 23-year-old’s lethal form in front of goal, coupled with the enormous interest in his services from across the continent, Torino’s club chairman Urbano Cairo had previously claimed that they had set a price tag worth €100m on the striker.
Cairo was quoted as saying by Sky Sport Italia: “We set Belotti’s clause and it’s true that we would be forced to sell him abroad for that sum if he agreed to the move. However, in Italy, I still have the right to refuse all offers, or the player could decide not to leave even if there are offers above €100m (£86m).”

However, following Belotti’s recent comments regarding his future, it turns out that Torino will have no need to entertain any offers whatsoever.
The Italy international, known by his fans as ‘Il Gallo’ (the Rooster), has ended up committing his future to Torino, and will not be looking to secure a transfer to any major club at least in the summer of 2017.
Belotti recently told Tuttosport: “Of course I am staying. I want to remain at Torino. In fact, I will stay at Torino next season. Let the Granata fans know, I am definitely staying.”
