Reports: Man United Ready To Activate Neymar’s €200m Release Clause
Barcelona have reportedly stepped up their interest in Juventus’ star attacker Paulo Dybala amid reports they could let go Neymar in the summer and this might well pave the way for Manchester United’s pursuit for the Brazilian.
Spanish outlet Sport claim the Premier League giants are ready to activate Neymar’s gigantic €200 million release clause. If the Barcelona star agrees to join United then it will eventually break the transfer world record which is also held by the Red Devils following their €100m deal for Paul Pogba last summer.
Several reports in Spain suggest that Dybala has “decided to leave Juventus at the end of the season” and the Argentine is keen to play in La Liga with the Catalan giants.
Mundo Deportivo also claim Barcelona ‘love Dybala because of his individual quality and versatility’ and if this transfer happens this summer then Neymar’s future will surely be up in the air.

The Brazilian striker has already spoken of his admiration for the Premier League and Manchester United have been heavily linked with his services over the past few years.
Neymar only signed his latest extension in July last year – a decision which reportedly forced Dybala to stay in Turin as he knew he would be behind Neymar in the Luis Enrique’s pecking order.
While Barcelona are knocking again for the talented 23-year-old forward, it could eventually signal the departure of Neymar to Old Trafford considering United’s strong intent. In October Neymar’s father confirmed Manchester United had made an offer to Barcelona.
Reports of United’s keenness to strike a deal for the Brazilian emerged late in the 2016 summer window, but his father said they were never interested in what the Premier League club had to offer.
