Manchester United Eye Summer Move For Arsenal Duo Mesut Ozil And Oxlade-Chamberlain
Manchester United are reportedly planning to make a double raid on Arsenal for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mesut Ozil.
Jose Mourinho has already started planning to strengthen his midfield in the summer. And Goal report he is closely monitoring both Oxlade-Chamberlain and Ozil’s contract situation at the Emirates.
Both players’ futures at Arsenal have become increasingly doubtful this term. Oxlade-Chamberlain will be out of contract at the end of next season and is yet to be handed a new deal. Mourinho did try to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain in 2014 as part of a deal which brought Petr Cech to Arsenal.
The Englishman has struggled for a regular game time under Arsene Wenger over the last few years and has scored only two Premier League goals in his last two seasons with the Gunners. But Mourinho rates the midfielder highly for his versatile nature and believes he could be extremely useful at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Ozil has 15 months left on his current contract with Arsenal. But talks over a new deal had stalled between the club and the German sensation.
Ozil reportedly wants wages in excess of £250,000 a week before he extends his terms, although he insists he is happy in north London and might resume contract talks at the end of this season.
Mourinho knows Ozil’s capability very much having worked with him at Real Madrid, and the two could now be set for a reunion at Old Trafford.
Ozil, who arrived at Arsenal from Real Madrid for £42.5million four years ago, has come in for severe criticism during his time in England and has often been accused of going missing in big games.
