Louis Van Gaal Close To Landing New Job
Former Manchester United and Bayern Munich boss Louis van Gaal is in talks to land a new job in his home country.
The FA Cup-winning manager with the Premier League outfit was relieved of his duties last summer, a year before his contract was supposed to terminate. He has not found a place of work ever since, but is now set to revive his career with a coaching role in the Netherlands national team.
Van Gaal recently admitted that he might not work again in the field of the sport, but reports from Sky Sports claim that he is now in talks about a senior role with the Dutch FA.

The 65-year old has won league titles during his time at Ajax, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and AZ Alkmaar, but could not replicate it in England at Old Trafford.
But with the Dutch national team currently going through a mediocre patch, Van Gaal could be tempted to get back to the game to help his nation.
Having failed to reach the finals of the EURO16 in France, the Dutch national team are now in danger of losing out on a place in the next World Cup after an abysmal campaign in the qualifiers.
They are currently at the bottom of their group, three points off the second place, and need a change in fortunes quickly. They have slumped to an all-time low rating of 32nd in FIFA rankings, which recently saw their coach Danny Blind lose his job.
The 2-0 defeat to Sofia in the qualifiers was the final nail in the coffin for Blind, and the Dutch FA are now in search of a new coach.
Though Van Gaal is not up for the job, he may well return to the national setup to help his side come out of the slump.
