Phil Neville Names The One Liverpool Player He Would Like To See At Manchester United
Manchester United legend Phil Neville has revealed that Jordan Henderson is the one Liverpool player he would like to see at the Old Trafford club.
Liverpool and Manchester United share the biggest rivalry in English football, and it has been 53 years since a player directly moved from one side to the other, when Phil Chisnall left United for the Merseyside outfit for £25,000 back in 1964.
However, in a recent question and answer session conducted by Phil Neville on his official Twitter account, the ex-defender was asked by Twitter user James Dames which one of the current Liverpool players would he like to see at Manchester United.
Despite the Anfield giants currently possessing some of the best attacking players in the Premier League, such as Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino, and Sadio Mane, to name a few, Phil Neville ended up picking a surprising candidate: Jordan Henderson.

The former Manchester United and Everton man’s decision to pick the Liverpool captain didn’t go down too well with the Red Devils’ supporters, especially with star midfielders like Paul Pogba, Ander Herrera, and Michael Carrick already at Jose Mourinho’s disposal at present.
Here’s how the United faithful reacted to Neville’s choice:
