Manchester United are reportedly considering a £21m transfer for Anderson Talisca.
Talisca is currently on loan at Besiktas from Benfica, where he has already scored 10 goals from 25 appearances. The youngster has been heavily linked with a move to England, and he almost joined Liverpool last summer, before work permit issues prevented the deal.
The 23-year old is now being linked with arch-rivals Manchester United, and according to the Hurriyet (Turkey), Mourinho is planning a £21m bid for the Brazilian. It it also reported that Benfica have been informed about the Red Devil’s interest.
Talisca has been scouted extensively by both United and Liverpool throughout his spell in Turkey. This will make it tougher for Mourinho, with Jurgen Klopp looking to re-open talks with the player.
With loan side Besiktas also desperate to sign him permanently, United face a tricky path. The former Brazil U-20 player can operate as an attacking midfielder or a striker, similar to Roberto Firmino before he arrived at Merseyside.
In the two seasons Talisca spent with Benfica, he scored 20 goals in 76 appearances. He was also called up to the Brazilian national side in 2014, though he is yet to make his debut for the Selecao.
