James Rodriguez has identified Manchester United as his only possible destination in England, according to reports.

The Colombian sensation has been largely out of favour under Zinedine Zidane’s management at the Santiago Bernabeu, and is therefore, looking to secure a move away from the Spanish capital as soon as possible.

James is believed to be on the lookout for a club that not only offers him regular game time, but also competes for trophies consistently, on a domestic as well as the continental level. And the midfielder is far from short of suitors as well, with some of the biggest European powerhouses interested in securing his services.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a big money switch to the Premier League for quite some time now, with English giants Arsenal, Chelsea, as well as both the Manchester clubs rumoured to be in the race for his signature.

Antonio Conte’s Chelsea, who look set to win the league title this season, face the risk of losing their talisman Eden Hazard to Real Madrid in the upcoming transfer window, but the Italian tactician will not be willing to lose his ace to the reigning European Champions for naught under any circumstances.

Reports claim that if Hazard is allowed to move to Madrid, Conte will ensure the Los Blancos send James Rodriguez the other way, along with a hefty transfer fee for the Belgium international.

However, as per Diario Gol, James has no intention of playing for the Blues whatsoever, as the only English club he is interested in joining is Manchester United.

The talented playmaker is keen to play for the Red Devils under the management of Jose Mourinho, and if this proposed transfer to the Theatre of Dreams fails to materialise, James will then consider reuniting with his former Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti at Bayern Munich.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid will look to make this sale easier by letting Rodriguez leave the club for a meagre fee of £34 million, so as to use those funds to bring in a marquee player.
