Juan Mata Ruled Out For The Rest Of The Season
The Red Devils already have a couple of injury concerns with the likes of Phil Jones and Chris Smalling, expected to miss the rest of the season.
Jose Mourinho, who will be frustrated with the mounting injuries, has today revealed that former Chelsea man Juan Mata is not expected to play again this season.
The 28-year old was ruled out of the game against his former side this Sunday, long ago, after he had a groin surgery last month. Though it was expected that he could be back to help United in the business end of the season, it is now understood that he is ruled out for the rest of the campaign.
Speaking to the media, Mourinho briefly said, “End of May,” when asked to pen a return date for the playmaker.

It will come as a huge blow for the Old Trafford outfit as Mata is their second top goal scorer this season behind Zlatan Ibrahimović.
Mourinho also revealed that Jones and Smalling may also be back at a similar time.
“And Phil Jones and Chris Smalling, mid-May,” he added.
Manchester United have some tough games coming up from now to the end of the season and they will have to do extremely well to cope with the loss of one of their talisman in the fag end of this season.
