Chelsea Could Miss Out On Alvaro Morata
Jose Mourinho has stepped up his pursuit of Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata as a part of his squad overhaul this summer.
Manchester United spent close to £150m in the 2016 summer transfer window before the start of the current campaign, and Mourinho will be happy with the progress the squad has made this season.
However, he is convinced that he needs more options in the squad to compete on all four fronts next season. This has seen him linked with some of the best stars in Europe at the moment.
The manager is looking to add quality to his attack at the end of the season, and one players he is now ready to get to the club this summer is Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata.

The Spanish international is one of the most versatile players in the La Liga at the moment, but has not been the first choice for Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu. He has bagged 17 goals and 4 assists in all competitions this season, but has made just 21 appearances all season in La Liga, and is not happy with his situation at the moment.
Morata has constantly been linked with a move to Chelsea, but Jose Mourinho is reportedly ready to make the first move for his signature.
According to reports from Spanish media outfit Don Balon, Mourinho has made Morata a priority this summer, and is ready to do whatever it takes to lure him to Old Trafford. The 24-year old is contracted with the Spanish club till 2021, but Zidane could be open to selling him, as he is also planning an overhaul at the end of the season.
