Griezmann Isn’t The Only Big Player Who Could Leave Atletico Madrid This Summer
Manchester United’s pursuit of Antoine Griezmann is known to everyone, but recent reports from Daily Star suggest that the Red Devils are ready to raid his Atletico Madrid teammate Jan Oblak as well.
As per the source, the Manchester United officials are ready to splurge £125 million to sign the duo, and to be specific, Griezmann is expected to cost £85m, while Oblak is estimated roughly at £40m.
The 25-year-old Slovenian stopper has made his name all by himself ,and the fact that he has 12 clean sheets to his name in La Liga solely supports his cause.
Furthermore, it is certainly expected that United are going to have a busy summer window. The squad needs a reshuffle, and besides that, David De Gea’s future at Old Trafford is still far from secure.

While some sources have claimed that he will stay put, others have mentioned that he will travel to Real Madrid this summer. Hence, in the midst of all the speculation, keeping an option in sight make sense for the Mancunian giants.
Should the Spaniard make his mind to move to the Santiago Bernabeu, United will look to grab at least £65m from the transfer to fund Oblak’s move to Old Trafford.
However, all of their dreams of signing Griezmann and Oblak will go down to ashes if they fail to qualify for the Champions League next season.
A few days ago, Griezmann’s representatives did confirm United’s interest, but the Frenchman clearly stated the fact that he will only move to a Champions League club, thereby making Manchester United a bit vulnerable in this pursuit.
