Manchester United are very aware that latest revelations of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s astonishing salary could put off Antoine Griezmann’s move to the club, as per The Daily Star.

It is believed that Atletico Madrid talisman wants to be the best paid player at Manchester United, which might be a big problem for the Red Devils, given the recent revelation of Ibrahimovic’s huge salary.

Griezmann’s representatives thought that there was a £300k-a-week salary cap at United, but now, they plan to seek improved wages, with the reported £367k-a-week salary of the big Swede.

It’s not that Manchester United can’t afford the salary of the French superstar, but it has more to do with the ego clashes that could be caused by offering a better contract to the 26-year-old.

The latest leak by “Football Leaks: The Dirty Business of Football” has also alerted United’s other targets. Mourinho continues to keep tabs on Gareth Bale, Eric Dier, and Danny Rose, who would all seek to exploit the money factory at Old Trafford.

United are set for another mega expensive transfer window, and it is being reported that they will spend more than £300m to get their targets to sign the paper. For now, though, they have to focus on securing a place in the league of Europe’s finest teams.

Jose Mourinho’s side are on their way to qualifying for Champions League via Europa League, but they will first need to beat Ajax in the final.
