Belgian star Adnan Januzaj has no future at Manchester United, and he will be told the same in the coming days.

The Red Devils are now busy trying to improve on their squad for next season, and are looking add some of the best players in the summer. This will see them let go of some of the fringe players in the squad, and Januzaj is expected to one of the many to be given the axe in a week’s time.

According to reports from The Times, Jose Mourinho is now preparing to tell the 22-year-old winger that he has no future at the club, and that he will be sold before the start of next season.

The youngster moved to Manchester United as an academy product of FC Brussels back in 2011, and made 50 senior appearances for the club from 2013 to 2015.

However, he was not able to show the consistency that was demanded of him at Old Trafford, and was sent out on loan by Louis van Gaal, the previous Manchester United manager.

Januzaj spent a season with Borussia Dortmund at the Iduna Park, but failed to impress enough to warrant a permanent move. He returned to England only to be loaned out to David Moyes’ Sunderland – a team that failed to avoid the drop in the previous season.

The Belgian is now back at Old Trafford, but it is understood that he is not a part of the plans for Jose Mourinho, and is expected to be sold this summer.

Ligue 1 clubs PSG, Marseille, and Lyon are already interested in his signature, and it is understood that United will demand anywhere between £10m-£15m for his services.

At just 22, he may still realise his potential later in his career, but Mourinho does not feel the same, and has decided to cut down on his wages by offloading him once and for all.
