Eric Bailly And Victor Lindelof To Become Man United’s Defensive Duo For The Next Decade

As Manchester United look ready to spend big in the upcoming transfer window to aim for Premiership and Champions League glory next season, Victor Lindelof is all set to become their first major signing.
The Swedish defender has been on Mourinho’s radar since last season, and after much deliberation and negotiation, the player might finally be heading to Old Trafford.
The £35 million man has apparently agreed an initial agreement to become a Red Devil in the immediate future, with a medical that might take place as early as next week.
Mourinho bought Eric Bailly last season from Villarreal, and the defender proved to be a beast, as he helped the team to Europa League success and became the manager’s number one man at the back of the line.
The boss now looks at Lindelof as Bailly’s to be partner for the upcoming campaign, and the Swede’s play-building ability is what impresses him the most.
As per reports in The Daily Record, the 23-year-old could become a vital addition to the Manchester United squad, and if his performances are worth the hype, he can maintain that status alongside Eric Bailly for a minimum decade.

The player has been playing in the Portuguese League for six years now, and has only managed to grow in stature, ability and brilliance during that time period. The phase also saw him named in the UEFA Team of the Tournament for the U-21 Euro campaign, in which he scored the ultimate deciding penalty that helped his country lift the title.

Lindelof is the name on many of United supporters’ lips these days, and if he does arrive, the expectations of him delivering will be sky high.
