Man United Willing To Offer Matteo Darmian For Ivan Perisic

Manchester United are willing to offer €20 million plus Matteo Darmian in exchange for the services of Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan, according to Premium Sport.
The Italian defender has endured a rather ‘up and down’ season in England, and has had limited playing time at Old Trafford, following his arrival from Torino. Moreover, he has repeatedly linked with a return to his homeland, but no move has materialised so far.
On the other hand, the Red Devils have had their previous offers for Ivan Perisic rejected by Inter, and they hope this latest offer would be enough to entice the Nerazzurri into selling the Croatian.
Perisic is strongly admired by United boss Jose Mourinho and has been the Portuguese manager’s long-term target. The 28-year-old bagged 11 goals and 9 assists across all competitions over the course of last season, which seems to have raised Mourinho’s interests in him.
With Lukaku’s arrival looking imminent, the pursuit for Perisic is top priority for Mourinho. Moreover, with Ashley Young’s future at the club looking doubtful, the former Chelsea boss wants the Inter superstar to play alongside their new striker at Old Trafford.
The versatile winger recently got on Inter’s bad side, as he was fined for his recent displays in beach volleyball. The relationship between the club and the player appears to be weak enough for Manchester United to take advantage by exploiting it and sealing an attractive deal.

As Dani Alves looks to be heading towards the blue side of Manchester, Juventus also see Darmian as a possible replacement for the Brazilian.
The 27-year-old impressed late into the previous season, and might depart from Manchester in search of more playing time, as he will be keen on proving himself ahead of the 2018 World Cup in Russia next summer.
