In what could be one of the most shocking transfer stories so far, Liverpool have emerged as new suitors for Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller.

German outlet Bild has reported that Jurgen Klopp is a huge admirer of Muller, and has asked his administration to sign the German at any cost. Chelsea, Arsenal, and Juventus also seem to be interested in luring the lanky forward.

The 27-year-old previously attracted heavy interest from Manchester United, but the Munich-based club refused to entertain any offers from the Red Devils.

What is noteworthy here is that Muller’s position in the Bayern squad is currently under threat, after Die Roten signed James Rodriguez from Real Madrid on a two-year loan deal.

The World Cup winning German international has played only for Bayern in his career so far, but he did have a forgettable season last year, wherein he netted only 5 goals in the Bundesliga.
