Paris Saint-Germain are looking to bolster their project further by signing Zinedine Zidane as their coach.
Having signed two of the global superstars in Neymar and Mbappe doesn’t seem to have flattered the PSG owners, who are now looking at Zidane to be their head coach.
Unai Emery has the vote of confidence from the French club for now, but PSG are not known to be very patient with their managers, as they are already exploring options.
PSG are of the opinion that Zidane could be the final missing piece in their puzzle to conquer Europe. The Real Madrid boss has shown the midas touch at the Santiago Bernabeu since taking over as the boss. The French tactician has already accumulated a large number of trophies, including 2 Champions Leagues, in his short career.
Spanish Newspaper El Confidencial has claimed that Zidane is under pressure at Real Madrid because of the slow start to the new season. It further adds that PSG are eagerly waiting for either Zidane to leave the Spanish club or get sacked, so that they can approach him for the role at Parc Des Princes.
PSG were rumoured to be close to sacking Unai Emery after a disappointing campaign last season, but they decided against it because of the unavailability of a suitable replacement.
Diego Simeone was considered by the rich French club as well, but the Argentine decided to extend his stay at Atletico by signing a new contract.
