Tottenham Interested In Signing Unsettled Madrid Star, Sergio Ramos Knows He’s Leaving
Tottenham and United are genuinely contesting for the services of Real Madrid superstar Luka Modric, reports Diario Gol.
The Croatian made his switch to the Bernabeu from North London for a bargain price of £30 million back in 2012, and was subsequently labelled as the worst signing of the season.
However, he has since managed to conquer the midfield, becoming one of the best midfielders in the club’s history.
The former Spurs star has managed to add 10 major club honours to his name during his time in the Spanish capital, including an incredible 3 Champions League titles.
However, according to the Spanish outlet, the midfield maestro believes his time with the Galacticos is up, and he has even told teammate Sergio Ramos that he is considering a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu next summer.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils and the Londoners are well aware of the situation, and are already on the case.
Whilst Tottenham are keen on bringing back their former superstar, United are on the lookout for a natural playmaker in the middle of the park. Moreover, Jose Mourinho has likely set his mind on a reunion with his former colleague.
On the other hand, the report also claimed that Inter Milan have already contacted the Croatian international’s agent, and that San Siro is certainly a likely destination should he depart from Spain.
It would not be a surprise if the 32-year-old is seen changing clubs in the near future, but his next destination remains unclear.
