United Could Complete Forward Signing In The Next Few Days, Agent Confirms Transfer Talks
Manchester United are said to be very keen on securing the signature of Umaro Embalo in the January transfer window, according to reports.
The youngster has been linked with United for quite a while, and many initially believed that an agreement had been reached quite a while ago.
However, Benfica’s stance on the deal has altered quite a few times, and they remain uncertain about whether to cash in on the 16-year-old or not.

According to Portuguese news outlet A Bola, Benfica are considering the thought of selling the 16-year-old once more, and could be willing to let him go for a figure in the region of €13-14 million.
Jose Mourinho seems determined to get him, and his side has reportedly shown the most ‘insistence’ on getting a deal done. Hence, the teenager could very well make the switch to Old Trafford in the next few days, once the winter window rolls around.
Speaking to A Bola, Embalo’s agent said: “Nothing is done, and the conversation, nobody communicated anything to me, nor to the parents. He has interest from several clubs, because he is an asset of Benfica and has gone down this route well.
“I can say that all the great clubs in Europe have already asked for information about Umaro, from Germany, England, Spain, France.
“If he’s going to Manchester is something that I don’t know at all, but it’s true that we have already met with Benfica and Manchester, there is no agreement, but there are conversations.”
