Jose Mourinho Wishes To Make These Three Signings In January
Jose Mourinho is on a quest to rebuild Man United from the bottom, and it seems he’s about to ignore all financial worries in order to do so.
According to Daily Mail, the Portuguese is on the lookout for two full-backs and an attacking midfielder this winter, as he believes it would be the only way to strengthen the injury-sickened Old Trafford roster.
Further, it was also reported that the club higher-ups have informed agents across Europe that they are in search of a left-back, a right-back, and an attacking midfielder.
With Antonio Valencia’s age becoming a very realistic concern at Carrington, it is only reasonable to bring in an equally talented replacement, alongside a left-back, which for some reason, has been an unfilled void despite numerous players trying out the spot.
Mourinho’s men have only won one of their five latest outings across all competitions, which is why the boss wishes to strengthen the squad to fancy their chances of securing some silverware this season.
With £260 million already spent by the gaffer since his arrival, it’s hard to imagine what kind of transfer stunt Mourinho might pull off to secure his desired signings, especially after accusing the Cityzens of “buying full-backs for the price of strikers”.
