Bayern Munich Star Available For €60m
Jerome Boateng is no less than a household name when it comes to the best defenders in the world today.
The German has cemented his position for both club and country, and is widely considered one of the most solid players with a ball at his feet.
Considering his vast amounts of experience, it is a shame that he doesn’t come up on the transfer radar enough, and it is perhaps his vital contributions to his club that have scared off many possible suitors.
While Bayern seem more than content in keeping him for as long as possible, recent reports of Boateng being unsure about his future continue to come up, and Manchester United seem the most interested in acquiring his services.
Jose Mourinho is a huge fan of Boateng, and is looking to sure up his defensive line ahead of the new Premier League season, after United fell short of the crown by a significant margin last season.

But Bayern Munich have made it clear that if United want their star defender, they need to pay €50-60m to snatch him away.
SportBild from Germany claim that the Bavarians are willing to sell Boateng for the right price, but only if Mourinho can convince the soon-to-be 30-year-old that a move to United will be the best for him and his career.

The defender formerly played for United’s fierce rivals Manchester City a few years ago, and enjoyed a brief spell at the club before making the move to Germany, where he has garnered even more success in the form of major trophies.
While his age may be considered a deterrent by some, it comes with the vast experience that Boateng possesses, and he could be a better signing for Mourinho than Toby Alderweireld, who has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
