How Paul Pogba Reacted To Man Utd’s Win Over Man City
Manchester United established their superiority over their city as bitter local rivals Manchester City were trumped in a brilliant 2-0 win on Sunday.
The emotions of the game were at an electric high as Anthony Martial opened the scoring in the first half while it took Scott McTominay well beyond the added injury time to net the long-shot winner after Ederson gifted him the ball via a failed clearance.
The outstanding showing from the Red Devils was taken in great stride by the players, who took to social media to express their joy.
However, there was certainly an initial silence from Paul Pogba and there was much speculation about his lack of comment.
This was amended, however, with the French midfielder taking to his Instagram story to paint United’s win.

Pogba’s absence has not been felt as badly at Old Trafford as of recent due to Bruno Fernandes’ exceptional start to life as a Red Devil.
As such, there is much anticipation about how well the two will gel once Pogba returns from injury, a feat that is expected to occur soon as the World Cup winner awaits match-fitness.

However, the bigger question that is looming is still one about his future, as reports continue to peg him to be exit-bound in the summer.
Further still, the midfielder is yet to pen a fresh deal either, ensuring that the Red Devils are rapidly running out of the comfort of having several months on contract upon which they were quoting incredibly high sums for the former Juventus player.
While the heart is clearly there for the club, it still remains to be seen how well it will translate in the near future. His return to gametime to United will merely be one test as fans anticipate just with what passion their prodigal star will function at the Theatre of Dreams.
