Cristiano Ronaldo’s brilliance at the zenith of his career simply needs no more illustration. The Portuguese superstar has mostly done and achieved all that he can at his age and in the span of his multi-faceted career.

Even at 35 years of age, Ronaldo still continues to function in impeccable form and is an excellent asset to Juventus. When he joined the Serie A outfit after having left Real Madrid, there were several who heralded the end of an era and suggested that his finest playing days were done.

The time he has spent in Italy has shown just how wrong those predictions were and now his most recent accolade has cemented yet another front of his raw brilliance.

The 25th goal arrived on Saturday against Torino, incidentally from a free-kick, his first goal from that set-piece duty with the Old Lady. The laurels he amassed with his numbers in the Premier League and the La Liga are out there for the history books to revel and he is certainly on par to make a firm mark on the records of the Serie A too.

In the everlasting GOAT debate between him and Lionel Messi, this consistent brand of brilliance across leagues will always remain a massive positive in favor of Ronaldo, perhaps even becoming the tiebreaker to decide who is the more exceptional player, as the Argentine forward has only functioned in Spain for Barcelona.

No one is quite sure how many years of football are left in Cristiano Ronaldo, but he seems adamant to make each one count and is certainly adept stamping every new one with yet another record.

Will there ever be another one to equal this feat?
