Solskjaer Believes Sancho’s Transfer To Man Utd Will Be Completed Soon
Ole Gunnar Solskjær has allegedly told Jadon Sancho that his transfer to Manchester United will be completed soon.
The Sancho saga is rapidly becoming one for the books as every hint of a possible conclusion seems to bring up new options. Early on in the summer, the beginning of August deadline was floated as a deal was hoped to be met prior to the start of training of both clubs.
What has remained consistent throughout is the fact that Borussia Dortmund wished for a large transfer fee that they won’t budge from and that the ball is entirely in the court of the Red Devils to make the deal.
Now, there is an update pertaining to a figure right at the top itself.
According to Norwegian source Fredrik Filtvedt of Dagbladet, Ole Gunnar Solskjær has personally spoken to Jadon Sancho and has purportedly told the starlet that the deal would “soon be in the bag.”
The 20-year-old’s future has hung in the balance for far too long now and most recent updates paint a picture that could realistically go either way.
As of recent, fans of the clubs would certainly be let down by the manner in which the deal for Sergio Reguilón collapsed. Tottenham Hotspur is believed to have swooped in for the 23-year-old left-back right when negotiations were going on between United and Real Madrid with the London side allegedly agreeing to the very clauses that the Mancunian outfit were having issues with.
The same source also adds that the Red Devils plan on making two more transfers before the October 5 deadline and that Sancho is one of the planned deals.
Given that the Donny van de Beek saga was viewed by supporters as a palette cleanser from the seemingly never-ending Sancho rumours, the final leg is bound to be intriguing.
