Man Utd have made up for last week’s disappointment as they cruised past Everton at Goodison Park. A masterclass from Bruno Fernandes was enough to seal all three points for the Red Devils and maybe keep Ole Gunnar Solskjær in the job for some more time.

Let’s look at how the players performed:

David De Gea – 6.0

David De Gea had a decent outing but conceded too easily to Bernard’s strike. The Spaniard was not exactly on point with his distribution either, completing just 10 passes and doing poorly with long balls.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 6.3

A quiet outing – did not do anything particularly special but there were no real negatives from his game today. The Englishman went out and did the job he was asked to do and he did it in an acceptable fashion despite losing a fair amount of duels.

Victor Lindelof – 7.5

Lindelof had a solid outing today, having played a good part in keeping Dominic Calvert-Lewin quiet. The Swede also very good on the ball and with his distribution.

Harry Maguire – 8.0

Alongside his Swedish defensive partner, Maguire dominated the penalty area and played a big role in today’s win with his aerial presence. Could’ve won a penalty in the second half.

Luke Shaw – 8.0

Great performance in keeping a balance between defence and attack. Assisted the equaliser in beautiful fashion too.

Scott McTominay – 7.0

Did surprisingly well in Paul Pogba’s absence. Won several fouls and did well when it came to duels.

Fred – 8.0

The Brazilian was tenacious in the midfield against the likes of James Rodriguez, Allan, and Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Bruno Fernandes – 9.2

A near-perfect outing. Scored the equaliser and the winner, and went on to assist another goal in the second half. Yet it’s “near-perfect” due to an ordinary second-half performance.

Juan Mata – 6.0

Rather disappointing outing from the Spaniard. It looks as if Mata’s age is catching up to him.

Marcus Rashford – 6.5

Underwhelming performance from the United starboy. Seemed to make a lot of mistakes and gave away possession quite a few times.

Anthony Martial – 5.9

The Frenchman cannot seem to shake off his bad form in the league this season. Martial was very sloppy in possession and has continued his record of not having registered a single shot on target in the league this season.

Substitutes:

Axel Tuanzebe – 6.5

Did not do anything remarkable but got the job done.

Edinson Cavani – 7.0

Had very little time to make an impact but made it worthwhile with a great finish with the only chance he got.

Paul Pogba – 6.0

Lost most of the duels he contested for and was sloppy with possession.
