Man United continue to negotiate with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho, but they’ve found a breakthrough in their pursuit for Kamaldeen Sulemana.

Sulemana, 19, plays for FC Nordsjælland in the Danish Superliga, and is one of the most highly-rated wingers in the country. Accordingly, he has managed to attract clubs around Europe, with Ajax, Liverpool, and United understood to be battling to acquire the youngster.

FC Nordsjælland chairman Jan Laursen also confirmed Old Trafford outfit’s interest in the Ghana international.

Now, it’s being reported by Norwegian journalist Jonas Giæver, that both Ajax and United have had ‘offers accepted’ by the Danish club, with the player left to decide which club between the two he’d like to ply his trade with.

In contrast to Sancho’s transfer saga, the hurdle in this deal seems to be the personal terms with the player. As such, Ajax, who are known for developing young players, might just end up winning the race for Sulemana.

The Eredivisie side have already signed Mohammed Kudus last year from Nordsjælland, and offering a similar path to the Ghanaian could give them an upper hand.

Regardless, with the imminent arrival of Sancho, the Premier League giants will be in a position to miss out on other attacking talents. Rather, the focus this summer would likely be on strengthening their midfield and backline.
