Sancho Completes Man Utd Medical – Official Announcement With ‘New Kit’ Soon
Jadon Sancho has completed his medical at Carrington, as Man Utd prepare for a big announcement.
Borussia Dortmund and United have signed all the paperwork to finalize Jadon Sancho’s transfer from Bundesliga to the Premier League.
The Englishman had to wait for Euro 2020 to reach its conclusion before completing his move to Old Trafford. On Tuesday, he was at the club’s Carrington training complex to complete his medical.
Now all that remains to finally complete the £73m move is a formal announcement with Sancho in United’s 2021/22 kit, expected to be done within 48 hours. Terms for the 21-year-old’s contract worth around £250,000-a-week are already agreed upon as per reports.
He’s now expected to head for a three-week break before returning for pre-season training under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The former Man City talent will become United’s second summer signing, with Tom Heaton’s arrival already confirmed earlier in July.
Following his return from break in the first week of August, Sancho will hope to bounce back from the disappointment of England’s penalty shoot-out loss against Italy in the Euros final by quickly settling in with his new teammates.
However, the England international is unlikely to train with his close friend and teammate Marcus Rashford for at least next two months. The 23-year-old has reportedly decided to have surgery on a long-standing shoulder problem.
