Cristiano Ronaldo is not happy with Man United’s transfer activity in the summer, and has no intention of spending the final years of his career at the elite level without challenging for trophies.

His frustration at Old Trafford has led to interest from multiple clubs, including AS Roma – a side managed by his former Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho. As per Retesport (via The Sun), Roma are trying everything to sign the United star.

Further, on Saturday evening, The Athletic’s David Ornstein reported that Chelsea owner Todd Boehly discussed the idea of Ronaldo moving to Stamford Bridge in a meeting with the Portuguese’s representative, Jorge Mendes.

Thomas Tuchel wants a new forward with Romelu Lukaku set to return to Inter after failing to lead Chelsea’s attack in the Premier League last season. However, it’s unclear whether Chelsea will push for the 37-year-old’s signature.

Further, United have no desire to part ways with their only reliable goal-scorer as things stand. New boss Erik ten Hag is looking forward to working with him.

The Red Devils are negotiating to sign Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona and have offered a contract to Christian Eriksen. The arrival of the midfield duo might change Ronaldo’s mood ahead of the new season.
