Man United Ready To Accept €10m Bid From Premier League Club To Sell Their Midfielder
Manchester United have received a bid from Premier League opposition Fulham for the permanent transfer of Andreas Pereira.
The midfielder has enjoyed a good year on loan with Flamengo, and has been keen to extend his stay in his native Brazil. However, despite his impressive sting, the Brazilian outfit are unlikely to turn his loan move into a permanent switch, leaving the door open for other suitors to step in.
Newly promoted Fulham, who lost their playmaker Fabio Carvalho to Liverpool, have made a proposal for Pereira.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the London based club have submitted an official offer of €10m plus add-ons to United, who are prepared to accept the bid, but are waiting for the player’s final decision.
Erik ten Hag is also open to give the 26-year-old an opportunity to impress during the pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia, but he is looking for regular first-team football.
With United closing in on Frenkie de Jong, and Bruno Fernandes already occupying the No 10 position, Pereira’s appearances are going to be limited, if at all, following his return to Old Trafford.
As per ESPN, the Brazil international has been impressed by the plans laid out by Fulham boss Marco Silva.
