Paris Saint-Germain are building a serious team under Luis Campos to challenge for this season’s Champions League.

The French champions have signed two new midfielders in Vitinha and Renato Sanches this summer, and are very close to acquiring Fabian Ruiz from Napoli to further strengthen their options in the middle of the park.

In Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, Christophe Galtier has a frontline that is capable of overpowering any defence across Europe. To add depth up front, PSG also signed youngster Hugo Ekitike from Reims. Now it’s understood that they are exploring an ambitious move for another forward.

PSG have opened talks with representatives of Marcus Rashford over a potential summer transfer. The Man Utd star was on their radar during Thomas Tuchel’s reign as well. The French giants are pushing to sign him once again, but are yet to make a formal approach to the English outfit.

Campos have studied the profile of the player, who has a good relationship with Mbappe, as per RMC Sport.

At this stage, United are believed to be relaxed about the situation, and have no intention to let their academy product depart. Rashford’s current contract runs until 2023, but the Red Devils have an option to extend his deal for another year.
