Manchester United Could Make Another Massive Signing After €100m Antony Deal
Antony has just landed in Manchester to seal his reunion with Erik ten Hag, but Manchester United’s transfer business remains far from done this summer.
The Sao Paulo talent is moving to the Theatre of Dreams in England’s north west in a deal worth up to €100m after honing his skills in Amsterdam.
However, he might not be the only talented forward to move to United in a massive deal during the current transfer window.
United’s frontline could still experience a major reshuffle with Cristiano Ronaldo still determined to engineer his exit. His agent, Jorge Mendes, has offered his client to multiple Champions League outfits.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Napoli have been by far the most engaged club.
Meanwhile, Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that the Serie A side are waiting to understand if Mendes will provide them with a concrete offer to realise Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer to Naples.
Ronaldo is appreciated by Napoli but it’s going to be tricky to fit the 37-year-old – both financially and on the pitch – in Luciano Spalletti’s squad. As such, his return to Italy could see Victor Osimhen join United in a swap deal.
However, the 23-year-old striker is highly rated by the club, who are unlikely to let him leave for anything less than €100m.
