Ten Hag Suggests He Doesn’t Want Man Utd Defender At The Club After West Ham Win
Erik ten Hag’s post-match comments don’t bode well for Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s career at Manchester United.
West Ham United made the Red Devils work hard for all three points on Sunday, forcing several last-ditch tackles, clearances, and saves from their defenders late in the game.
David de Gea, Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, and Diogo Dalot all played their part in keeping the fifth straight clean sheet in all competitions at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag singled out many of them for praise in his post-match interview, including Dalot, who was superb in every area of the pitch.
Dalot has improved immensely under the Dutch coach, with the Portuguese taking on responsibilities both in and out of possession. Against West Ham, he was outstanding in defending the back-post.
While admiring Dalot’s development, Ten Hag insisted the 23-year-old cannot play every game, and United need “two good full-backs”.

Dalot has featured in every United game this season. Meanwhile, Wan-Bissaka has only racked up a total of four minutes of playing time so far.
The Englishman lacks composure and creativity with the ball and fails to offer Dalot’s reliability and decisiveness in United’s build-up play. He is clearly not in the United boss’ plans, and the latest plea for another “good” full-back suggests an exit from the club is on the cards.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League outfit will explore the transfer market for a new right-back, depending on the former Crystal Palace man’s departure. Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong has been scouted by the club, but he’s not the only option.
