Manchester United start the new year in the best way possible, beating Bournemouth 3-0 in the Premier League at a rainy Old Trafford.

Casemiro’s goal from Christian Eriksen’s free-kick put United in command early in the game, and second-half well-worked goals from Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford ensured a comfortable ending to the game for the hosts.

Here’s how United’s players rated in their sixth straight win.

David de Gea – 7.5

Made a flurry of saves in the second half to keep his third successive clean sheet.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 7.0

Another solid defensive display from the Englishman. Was encouraging going forward as well.

Harry Maguire – 7.0

Showed his experience to keep Dominic Solanke at bay.

Victor Lindelof – 7.0

Comfortable alongside his long-time partner.

Luke Shaw – 8.0

Started the attack and slotted the ball into the net to double United’s lead. Picked Bruno Fernandes in the penalty area with a lovely long ball for United’s third. Man of the Match.

Casemiro – 8.0

The veteran midfielder covered the entire pitch and even rattled the net.

Christian Eriksen – 7.0

Involved in yet another smart goal from a set-piece situation to take his league assist tally to six.

Bruno Fernandes – 7.0

Started the game on the right to accommodate Donny van de Beek and still managed to get a goal involvement.

Donny van de Beek – 6.0

Was lively but subbed off with an injury before the break.

Marcus Rashford – 7.0

Unstoppable at the moment. The England star has scored four goals in four consecutive games for the first time in his career.

Anthony Martial – 6.0

Linked up well again but needs to find the back of the net more regularly.
