Former Man United Midfielder Expected To Take Temporary Charge After Solskjaer’s Sacking

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to be sacked by Man United, with Darren Fletcher expected to take his place on a temporary basis.

In an emergency board meeting held immediately after the disastrous display in which his captain and record signing Harry Maguire was embarrassingly sent off, club executives have decided to relieve Solskjaer of his duties.

It’s unfortunate that the club legend ends his reign with him being booed by travelling fans at Vicarage Road. The 48-year-old deserves credit for stabilising the Old Trafford outfit and leaving a much better squad than the one he inherited from Jose Mourinho in 2018.
