Jose Mourinho Has Convinced Man Utd Target To Join Roma
Jose Mourinho ended AS Roma’s 14-year trophy drought after beating Feyenoord in the Europa Conference League, and became the first ever manager to win all three European trophies.
He celebrated this incredible achievement by getting a tattoo that portrays his latest silverware alongside the Champions League and Europa League trophies. However, he’s in no mood to rest on his laurels, and has pushed the Italian outfit to make more efforts this summer to add quality players to his side.
Roma have already signed former Man Utd midfielder Nemanja Matic, and are now set to cause another potential transfer headache for the Premier League giants.
Paulo Dybala has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford. Before Romelu Lukaku left United for Inter, the club were in talks with Juventus over a swap deal that would’ve seen Dybala join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
The Argentine forward was again mentioned as a potential United target in the event Cristiano Ronaldo forces his exit. The Portuguese icon’s future still remains up in the air, but the Red Devils have missed out on his likely replacement.
Dybala has agreed to move to Rome on a three year contract. It’s believed Mourinho played an important role in convincing the superstar to pick his project ahead of other suitors.
